Sud is passionate about understanding how we can unlock a speedy, organized, and just transition to a net-zero world, with a particular focus on the role of oil and gas. As an Energy Analyst at the Environmental Defense Fund, he leads and supports a range of projects, with a core focus on advocating for credible methane emissions management, and works closely with leading investors and corporate partners. His work centers around research, analysis, and thought leadership to support the energy transition of the oil and gas sector.

Before joining EDF, Sud worked briefly in climate roles at Wellington Management and other smaller environmental nonprofits. He graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in political science.
